Bailey, Colorado
In a small, quiet town
Right near the springs
Lies an outpost
Of Sasquatch's things
Right next door
A dainty ol' diner
"Cutthroat Cafe"
Ain't nothin finer
Right across the street
"Off the Rails" coffee
"The Chill Squirrel Trading Company "
Outfitters for shopping
Right down the road
Over a quaint little bridge
Glen Isle Resort
Beautiful forest and ridge
Right up the hill
Where we set our site
Rough midnight chill
Scared the frost may bite
Daytime brings the Sun
The Sun brings a shadow
The wind brings a shiver
Felt on the plateau
Sat upon a rock
Watching the moon
Swap places with the sun
Way too soon
Legs dangling
Off the highest cliff
Slowly fading
Into a mindless drift
Unbothered and unafraid
Although, I value my life
So I shall never restrict
What makes me feel alive
A mountain is my beach
A mountain in my hand
A mountain is my home
A mountain is my land
I love my skin
My hair and my feet
So clear out here,
Tangled and dirty
I'll fall in love
When someone makes me feel
The way a mountain range
Soothes my mind and heals
