I wish I could tell you 
You're always on my mind 
But I know it's too soon 
So I guess I'll just write 
I like everything about you 
That I've learned thus far
I adore the way you kiss 
Wish I could kiss you more 
I'm silently exploding 
From hiding insane thoughts 
Ones that may scare you 
Unless it's love you sought
I'm absolutely petrified 
Of my feelings for you 
I hope they don't take over 
And turn my life blue 
I miss your soothing voice 
The softness of your hair 
I miss your eyes locked on mine 
The sensation that you care 
Do you mean what you say?
Or is this happening too soon?
Although, I'm not sure I care 
Because all I want is you 
I hate not knowing 
When I'll see you again
I hope we can fall in love
Before September ends

your eyes

I love your eyes  But, not for their color  Not for their shape  Or the way that they flutter  Those peaceful, warm eyes Are not loved for their style I don't love them because  They go perfect with your smile I don't love them for their placement  Although, they are just right  I promise I don't love them In the way you think I might I love your soft eyes Because they're one of a kind Their lovely blue hue Sends shivers down my spine They hold a heater to my heart A feather to my neck They paint my cheeks reds And take away my breath They show me a world Where a midwest tree Can be as beautiful as A mountain or the sea They warm my Winters And cool my Summers Their presence is calming Their absence; a bummer I can't explain the difference  Or this new, weird feeling It's a refreshing change  If you know what I mean Those eyes, plus that smile Like a sun below 2 skies They are different from the rest I'm going to figure out why
